Yeah, I have blues eyes, and all kinds of brightness can do it. They are weak.

Two things
A) If you sneeze when you look at the sun, why keep looking at it?
b)Why are you looking at the sun in the first place? Generally, doing that makes you blind or see spots.

it's not like we're staring into the sun, searching deep into its disk for the meaning of life.
Just glancing in its direction can do this, or like other people said, any major shift of brightness.

Sick?
*Shrugs*
Meh, if you think that's sick, I guess you don't want to hear about my family's old stove.

Nope (to the original question, not the Rasq. Actually, now I'm quite currious about the stove story...)

Yeah, it's the sudden change really. I can stare at the sun all I want, and I won't sneeze, but just stepping out of a car into the bright sun shine... even the brightness of the sky around me can make me sneeze.

A lot of things make me sneeze.

Dust, Pollen, colds, if I cough to hard ,etc.

Not light though.
