Post by Vigil on Mon Apr 12, 2010 10:13 pm

A great set of reviews of the prequels that mix dark humour great criticeques of the films and a nice batch of insanity.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE?

You know what to do.

Episode II

Yes it's pretty long, but Stick with it, you won't be disapointed.

Whatever the reviews say, I still enjoyed those movies. Except attack of the clones, that was just so boring...

I watched them as a kid, they were alright.

I thought the special effects in Episode 2 looked the best/most realistic. The combat in Episode 2 also, like when the gunship destroyed an entire starship with two missiles aimed right above the fuel cells.

i found these reviews very humorous and they do point out the generic flaws with these new star wars movies.

i'm curious how he would act reviewing the clone wars movie.

It would be really funny if he just did that 20 seconds after the last one ended.

I still think Patamae (sp?) was done pretty well. If nobody else, i could clearly define her character. Even with his biased cut, she seemed fairly well defined.

Also, the hooker thing got old, very quickly. It was kind of funny when he just laced it into his analogies (like the five seperate puzzles one), and i got a chuckle when the hooker said "this is shit", cause of irony, but beyond that it was pretty weak.

I concur, she was probably the best and most constant character in the prequels.

It's Padmé Amidala.

'To be angry is to be human'-her response to anakin Killing sand people

'Anakin told me terrible stories that you've turned to the dark sde, that you killed younglings. You're a good person don't do this.'- Her in episode III, basically uo could call that entire scene and point how it's a massive contradiction with her previously established character.

She contradicted herself, yes, but it is still understandable. In one scene she was attempting to comfort Anakin, another she was afraid of losing him.

Still a major charcter flip.

First she's all down with the murder of helpless women and children, them bam she's all like 'You're breaking my heart Anakin.'

She knows precisely what this little shit is capable of and when he came to her and told her TO HER FACE that he had MURDERED WOMEN AND CHILDREN, and sane person would of called the authorties and had him sectioned. Hell at the very least, she would have told Obi-wan. But no she accepts this and marries him.

So why is she so damn surprised when he does it again? It's nothing new.

You do remember that they are sand people, right? Slightly racist undertone, perhaps, but still true. Also, the sand people killed Anakin's mother. And what was she supposed to tell Obi-wan? They weren't even supposed to be together anymore.
