Funny how how I quote not to attack myself? How is that odd? How many people attack themselves in their own posts made as rebuttals against other people's posts!?
Furthermore, why do I feel that I can explain anything to you? You are clearly not able to digest even the most basic information so why must I persist, I ask?

Re: How to Train Your Dragon
It suddenly stroke me how many of the people here prefer movies for children instead of other kinds of movies.....

Re: How to Train Your Dragon
RX, you are aware that the American movie scene has been going downhill right?
the only genre that's been keeping steady are the 3d animated childrens movie by major production companies.
its not like we're gonna get stoked about a fucking veggietales movie

Aren't you like 12? You're only two years younger than me.
Not to mention, this movie is really aimed at 4-8 year olds.

What other kinds of movies would you be referring to? I mean, is it wrong to say that you still pixar movies like Toy story, Monsters Inc. or recently UP?
Or, are you trying to be one of those fools who thinks they're "cool" and "mature" for say "pff animated movies suck and are for kids loser"?

Re: How to Train Your Dragon
contrary to popular belief, feature length "childrens" movies do not target children as their main audiance
if they did they would make no money
their target is the entire family, meaning they make the movie enjoyable enough for dad, mom, the older and younger kids... for the younger kids they put a moral behind the story and leave out gore/ cussing
Dreamworks however didn't have this aimed at anywhere close to 4-8 year olds, no 4-8 year old would have had to deal with having to get approval from parents/ dealing with an issue much larger than themselves... this movie's target audiance is 12 - 16
I can't think of any dreamworks movie that has even been aimed at an audiance lower than that

Re: How to Train Your Dragon
I agree, the main charcters are teens, so at the very least, it's a teen movie.
But anyone can watch it, and everyone should love it
