Well, it's either Activision, EA, or M$. There aren't many more options for such a high-end developer... after all, they don't have Steam for the Xbox 360 yet.

Whatever their new IP is, I hope it's not fantasy... I really don't think I have the energy to get into a fantasy franchise like I would a sci-fi franchise.

I saw this news, earlier this morning.
It will just be for their next IP, considering, when MS owned Bungie, MS would not distribute the game (What ever their next IP is) across all platform, whereas Activision will. It isn't like Activision is going to have control of the company.
