Hard Drive Failure

Post by Kasrkin Seath on Mon May 03, 2010 1:42 pm

I R so sad.
My hard drive started failing friday night and by sunday morning I could not even get windows to boot up.
So nows I lost everything Sad

It will take a while to re-install mah games, re-acquire files and find all teh antho artz I had on it. This also means my forum game is cancelled.

The main point of this topic is, however, to state that Dell shipped me a new hard drive and I should have my lappy up and running again by tommorow afternoon at the latest. YAY!

Now, time to leave before the teacher notices

Amen to that.. I'm considering paying some company to suck out the information I had onthe Hard drive but I'm not sure if I should do it. It's a bit expensive..

When I saw this, I thought it was related to the E-68 Error for the Xbox. The Hard Drive Failure.

The main reason this thought went through my mind was the fact that my hard drive for my 360 was fucking up, so I bought a 60 GB hard drive and I'm going to call Microsoft for a Transfer cable.

If there's one thing I've learned throughout my life as a PC user, HPs suck. And if I've learned anything from simply existing, Macs suck. That is to say, computers suck. But we deal with it, because they also kick ass.

This is very true. Except Macs are good just for certain things. Like using programs such as Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator etc. PC's are great for just about everything else. Not saying PC's can run those programs, (they can just fine) but I prefer using said programs on a Mac versus a PC.

from my experience Dell's have always been great.
BTW, the hard drive failure is not Dell's fault, it's the manufacturers (of the hard drive).

Seriously, Rock? A program is a program, no matter what operating system it's on. The only real differences are the mouse configuration and keyboard shortcuts. The dumbed-down versions of MS Office for Macs bug me, though. They s-u-c-k.

Yeah, seriously! When I used the programs I said on some Macs they ran smoother and ran better. These were both perfectly fine Macs and PCs so it has nothing to do with the program or the computer itself. The animation, drawing, music and movie making programs that I used ran a lot better and gave me a better experience on the Macs I had available then the PC's I had available. And, I'm only taling about these programs. Any other program like Word etc I never use on a Mac because I'm used to a PC and plus it's better on a PC. Again, just the programs that I'm talking about I like using a Mac for better.

Gauz wrote:There are only 4... which do you have?

I don't understand. What do you mean only 4? I don't own a Mac I own a PC. I used Macs when I had a very small part time job making stuff like posters, papers etc for a department.
