Most Anticipated Games of 2010/2011

What are your top three most anticipated games for the next year? Mine are...

Halo: Reach
Portal 2
Risk: Factions

I would not consider Portal 2 to be on my list unless it turned out being a worthy successor to Portal while simultaneously being something brand new. I think it's just another L4D: 2, or at least the same concept of releasing almost the same game with new maps? You can download mods that are structurally way better then the original Portal for free, with hundreds of new maps that are actually challenging.

The original game was a trial with 8 workers working on it in secret... just an afterthought for the Orange Box. This one has a full team working non-stop. It has a separate co-op campaign and a billion more tricks thrown in - all on top of a fully developed storyline. Yah, it's gonna be better than the original... by a LONG shot.

But... that's not what this thread is about.

I'm pretty sure there's a direct correlation between attention paid to the development by the designers and how anticipated it is by the public, so I would sorta say that's what the thread is about right? I mean, if what your saying is true, then I suppose I have reason to believe that it will not turn out like another L4D:2, and be worth my attention, so your rebuttal had actually increased the anticipation of Portal 2 by that much.

So, I add Portal 2 to my list.

I know it says top 3 most anticipated, but these are all games that I'm really looking forward to myself.

Screw having a top 3, I can put as many games as I want.

Portal 2.

Nothing else that I am hype up for.
But I am considering buying Reach, Fable III.
Possibly CoD:Black Ops, but I have made no decision about that, need more info before I can choice.
And I also want to see Starcraft II, even though I wont be able to buy, Run it, or even play it well.

Good luck with that But even if it is released on time I have a feeling it will be amazing, but too short for the time they spent on it. Despite how great the first two episodes were if it's that short I'll be disappointed.
