My brother already killed it with chemicals, and then when it was on the ground, I made sure with a shoe.

Actually, I looked at the remains, and I think the combination of Raid (for ants and cockroaches) and WD-40 broke it down chemically. What was, moments before, assorted bits of bug are now nothing more than bits of black substance. Considering the centipede was natural greenish yellow, this is slightly disturbing.

I'm serious, that stuff kills wasps like nobody's business. The other day, there was a horsefly in the shop, and I winged it with a short blast. It fell out of the air, landed in a box, and then took off. Two seconds later, it fell out of the air and hit the ground with a loud THUNK!

It wasn't moving when I got there.

When I was but a wee lad, I used to take crane flies and mosquitos by the wing and throw them into a spiders web. Just to watch the spider attack them. :twisted:
