People who are going into/in the military, did you take it too?

I did, and I got a letter saying I was in the top 10%.

Yeah, that's what I put.

I've never heard of the ASVAT, but I have taken the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). If I recall, I scored a 95/99. Don't know if that is indicative of percentile or correctness, however. If you know your score, we can compare to try and discern general percentile.

It's required of all Military Personnel and discerns your aptitude for MOS.

I got a 99 meaning that out of the test group in 2007 I beat at least 99% of them.

My GT score is a 138 out of (i believe) 143) with 100 being considered 'ok'

Overall though, the computerized version is set up in a way to allow you to get the best score you can as its dynamic and not preset like the written one.

I probably could have scored higher, but I got dominated in the section about tools and mechanics and the like. The Army recruiter seemed please with my score, regardless. But then, the Army always has been pleased with whatever they can get.

the only part that affects your main score are the math and language skills sections.

the others only get applied to specific scores outside of that main score

Its the easiest test there is, who DOESN'T get above a 90 eh?



I took the written one a few years back and don't remember the specific score, but it was good.

plenty of people get below 90, which you would know if you were in the military.

I am in the Military actually, I signed back in March but I just don't have such a small dick as some others do on this site to bring it up in every post I can possibly fit it into whether it has any relevance or not.
