I just saw it. It was pretty good (but I liked A-Team better).

My biggest problem was that many parts of it were predictable... and some of the 'worlds best' made some very stupid mistakes. Otherwise, it was very cool.

Why would anyone need to bring it up? Different director, different characters, different plot, different movie as far as anyone should be concerned. Also, any movie with Predator in it is going to have some scare value to it, they hunt people for crying out loud, usually while invisible. Can't you say that about every horror movie?
I'm pretty sure Freddy and Jason aren't scary after their millionth movie.

Saw it today, enjoyed it a lot. Loved the props back to the first movie.
