The action scenes that I've seen make me think of the old Batmans or Power Rangers, so I don't really want to go see it. BUT, if I hear some good reviews, I might reconsider.

wow guys....you are aware that cartoons don't translate to movies perfectly accurate due to the extra dimension and lack of godlike powers, right?

They might.

And if so, Shyamalan may not end up being the director. If I were Paramount, I'd get a restraining order against him for the franchise.

He might not direct... but don't they have to... you know... keep the cast?

I doubt Shyamalan will survive this.

Lady in the water, The Happening and the Last Airbender all in a row?

His career is essentially over.

I don't see what the problem with Lady in the Water was.
I really liked it.

Shyamalan writes a story and casts himself as a visionary writer who's work will save the world, and all his critics are wrong and can't see his genius.

It was a massive ego trip exercise.

yeah, I'll agree that giving himself such a large role compared to his earlier work was a mistake, but i still liked it
