That's because Frank's bastard son got ahold of the franchise, made up some notes so he could claim that he's following Daddy's work, and then he contracted out to a hack writer who has yet to give a flying fornication about what he's writing, be it Star Wars, Star Craft, X-Files, or any other franchise stupid enough to hire him.

Dune Messiah was pretty good, but I think that was written by Frank Herbert, not his offspring

I still haven't been able to find a copy of Children of Dune yet Sad

I really liked the book The Alchemist. Very very good. It gets boring in the middle but if you bear with the book, it gets better.

*EDIT* Besides...Do YOU have any of the FMA games? I do...And I've played through it and beat it a ton of times including going through the game cleared mode which I'm still stuck at one of the towns because it's so effing hard! >.<
