Board Games on a touch-screen surface

I want this technology so badly....

I can just imagine... playing Axis and Allies on this thing. It could do all sorts of things in the back ground. It could track statistics, and amount of money spent. You could even have added factors, like dynamic weather, or random natural-occurrences.

You could design your own board, create your own units.... Man, I fucking want this. I want this to really take off. I would pay thousands of dollars if I had it.

You wouldn't take have to spend time setting up the board too, which takes awhile in some games like axis and allies.

Yeah, my friend came over for about 4 hours to start up a game, and we got through only one full round of play. Now, admittedly, a lot of that was spent being incredible nerds and creating a chart to track casualties... but a lot of it was also spent setting up all the damn pieces.

Seriously. Whenever me and my friends played Risk, one of us would just get eventually frustrated and shout, NUKE! Bye bye little plastic cannons!

You loose a bit of your soul when you have to count 1200 dollars in monopoly money and give it to your opponent.

You know, I always felt that the day a dynamic way to present scenarios in DnD is the day I start playing.
