Anyone buy this?? I'd be up for some co-op sometime.
It's 33% off on Steam.

I've heard the opposite. I've heard its amazing, especially in how it takes a more realistic approach to fps games, as opposed to the nonstop action type.

I've heard precisely both. But by then I had already bought it because I was bored.
I haven't played yet but so far I regret nothing.

Re: Operation Flashpoint: Red River
The main complaint I've heard is simply the graphics aren't amazing, and that its not nonstop action.

Re: Operation Flashpoint: Red River
Ohoho, trust me, there are few games with better graphics when it comes to scenery. The game is gorgeous.
The graphics close up of course aren't as good as the scenery, but they're still better than Dragon Rising and they're never bad imo.
The Campaign is good and fun. And the Seargent is one of the more foul-mouthed motherfuckers on this planet ^^
Some people may say it suck because it just ain't their kind of game, but by The Emperor, I love this game.

Re: Operation Flashpoint: Red River
Yeah I have to say I approve. The AI has some serious idiot moments but after you get to know the commands a little better it gets easier. Definitely a good alternative to CoD. Like the old school Ghost Recon.
Looking forwards to the online co-op.
FYI - hold position/ move command on a wall = run into enemy fire. Defend Building = Fort Knox.
How is the online co-op?
Answer: Unavailable. Thanks to the shittiness of Games for Windows Live. Arrgh. Rage.
