I didn't say it was a cargo ship...

well... considering cargo ships are larger than any type of ship besides an aircraft carrier.... and aircraft carriers are the most important tactical ships in the navy and would NEVER be used to carry a load of dead bodies... I assumed it was a cargo ship

any SMALLER class of ship would mean the movie would be even SHORTER

AT the time, I was thinking a cruise ship, for the simple reason that it was more elaborate.

Keep in mind, this was years ago, and I wasn't giving it much serious thought.

And how would having to shoot through a confined space filled to the brim with zombies be a short game?

Dead Rising made it work with a mall, and I think the same concept could work for a large, maximum security prison.

Well PiE, it would be over quickly because in the confined interior of a ship hundreds of zombies shambling towards you would have no where to go and be quickly over run. The only way it worked in Resident Evil: Dead Aim is that the ship was nearly empty.

deadspace happened on a gynormous space freighetr

i'm going to make the correct assumption here by saying Pie has never been on a cruise... as that would be basically be the absolute worst place ever to be attacked by zombies
