Alright, my question to the community is:

Would you, or would you not like to know exactly when you will die?



My response:

No, I would rather have it sneak up and surprise me
if i knew i would lose the will to live in the first place

I died November 20 2005... still waiting for my application to resurrect to go through... damn bureaucrats take forever to process paperwork

I died in 2003 when my waffle got stuck in the toaster and I tried to pry it out with a fork.

I died on August 24th, 2008. I went to Hell but I can leave anytime I want.

And for some reason, I'm still here...

Y'see, a few atheist and Christian friends of mine got together, and someone mentioned that Schrodinger's cat experiment results in the cat being, at some point in time, both dead and alive. As this would offer profound insights into life after death, we decided that we would perform it on one of the present members and use him as a scout into the Hereafter.

Didn't work as planned. Sure, being able to walk through walls and not age is nice, but I miss having a functioning digestive system, I miss having to eat, and everyone stares at you when you lose concentration and put your hand through a desk or a book or something.

In all seriousness though, God told me.

I've died a few times but I just come back from the burnt ashes after my body combusts.

Surprises are funner. It'd be funner to have a bowling ball come flying through a window randomly than having false hope that you can dodge it.
