New planet that could possibly support life?

Sure, we can colonize this planet. It's possible to live on it.
Too bad it's a virtual hellhole where one side is frozen and the other is blazing hot, with the planet not even rotating and all.

If the temperatures are extreme, we're lucky the planet doesn't rotate because that means if we ever colonize it we won't have to build mobile colonies.

I'm not really sure, since you said the planet does rotate when it in fact doesn't.
