Can't really have games where you go around slaughtering children, Fox news would have a Lord Pheonix damn field day.

They showed Mass Effect as (in their words) a "Rape Simulator" based off of a 15 second sex scene that showed a flash of skin. No telling how much they'd fuck with this.

Never hate on a game for trying to mix it up, its that kind of behavior that leads to the call of duty franchise. It's still far from a bad game, and simply removing spreadsheets will give you more time to actually play the game without balancing nonsensical points.

Well, in Oblivion you kinda travel to several different planes of existence.. I think you also leave Morrowind in one of the expansions for that.

I never once stated I hated Skyrim or was hating on it, I was just telling you one of my points which relates to my thoughts regarding the system change. You are the one assuming I am calling it a bad game. I already stated that I really enjoyed playing it during the brief time that I did, I was just thrown off by the complete removal of features that were prominent when I started playing the TES series (I started with morrowind.... 12+ magical items equipped at once ftw)

Unless Bloodmoon isn't part of Morrowind, you never leave it in either of the expansions Razz

So far I've only played about four hours and it's pretty fun. I needx to find the mouse sensitivity controls, though, or at least use a 360 controller...

Become a Werewolf for some reason cures vamprisim.

Maybe its a bug because of all the scripted effects that get thrown on you. I think bloodmoon has that problem as well.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

So far, I like it a lot.

I miss the spreadsheet-style inventory from Oblivion, which allowed you to quickly determine which items to use, sell, or drop. The new inventory system is much more streamlined, though, and isn't that difficult to work with.

The lighting and resolution has improved, but there are still a few areas where graphics are lacking; still, the world is huge and consoles can only handle so much awesomeness.

I also kinda liked the directional hotkeys from Oblivion as well as the ability to more quickly change menu categories. These are all minor critiques, though.

The quests are much more immerse, the skills are better constructed than any previous Bethesda RPG, and it's just striaght-up fun. Skyrim gets three thumbs up from me.

Found another bug. The general stats reading of "Days as a werewolf" tracks every day since you turned, EVEN IF YOU CURED YOURSELF.
