Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Jarl calls off the guards after the quest because he blames everything on the forsworn. Only the forsworn in one cave are friendly.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The ending where you kill the Forsworn Leader in Cidna Mine is better than freeing him, Since they can't light the town on fire and kill half the guards if they are already dead.

The problem is I didn't think I was given a choice. The game seemed to be pushing me to side with him to escape, even though I hated him.

Your original objective was to kill him though.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Theres a few ways to get the 'less people die' ending,
Side With the bastard and then stab him and his men in the back once your gear is returned.
Kill him and everyone in the mine like some blood crazed psychopath with Magic/Duel Pickaxes.
Pickpocket his plans off him and then kill him and escape alone.
Kill him, loot body, Escape alone.
I never understood why they needed shivs when everyone has pickaxes already.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Funny story. New Patch installed, then played a while.
Companions are messed up now. Skjor has somehow come back from the grave and is giving me missions, and one of Farkas missions where I kill a Drougar leader didn't work because I killed him already.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
After Jorrvaskar is attacked, most of the companions have disappeared. Ideas?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Common bug. It's because the objective you'll be getting then is conflicting with the location of Helm of Winterhold or windhelm or some shit.
Only way is a to load old save, complete the quest where you get the helm and then you get to the point where Jorrvaskar is attacked. Only known solution.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Funny if they gave them a week and they did all of this, Why isn't this in the base game?. Hell imagine if they actually set aside time like this during the time they are polishing the game, for every game.
