Mounted combat has already been patched in Civ.

Trailer looked good, seem to be you either sided with the Vampires (As your character turns into a Vampire Lord). Or good guys vanquishing them (Dawnguard of the title maybe?)

I'm up for more Skyrim.

Seems a little familiar to bloodmoon where you had the Option of Joining the Werewolves or the local Nords of Solstiem in their conflict. The former gets you in good with Hircine and the later gets you one of the only designated 'player owned' houses in the game.

The expansion is probably going to be Akin to KotN (knights of the Nine) being mostly additions to the region since it appears to take place In skyrim, maybe in that really cool looking area west of markarth and solitude that has nothing really important in it.

I do wonder if the whole vampire lord thing means you will need to be a vampire first, (Sounds about right) and have to wait till your vampirism progressed to the stage most people will just attack you on sight and then you get some option or something in the questline to progress it further to have the whole werebat transformation power.

Though i think i might end up preferring dawnguard, I mean if that giant castle becomes a player owned house on completion like some of the bases in oblivion that's pretty much sets my path, Solitude and Windhelm are great and all but i mean.. who doesn't want a big ass castle. The armor looks cool also.

Still waiting on the 'Big' expansion for Skyrim whenever it comes not often do i want to know what happens after an elder scrolls game but i mean, Your dragon born, there's tons of thalmor out there, Empire is weak (regardless what you pick), Your dragon of the North, Wheres my become High King of Skyrim Option? Wheres this big war with the Thalmor we all want? Hopefully coming.

Goddamnit, this looks amazing.

I don't have xbox live though, so fuck everything.

And fuck the dawnguard, you can turn into some cool ass vampire gargoyle shit! Not to mention "blotting out the sun" and making it night forever would be boss as teats.

It is also Bethesda they released BS and Shivering in stores as hardcopies (and later incorporated the disk with the GOT edition for each) Presuming this expansion is considered as such and not a DLC like Op Anch or Knights of the Nine it will be in stores.

My Oblivion came with Knights of the Nine, so even if it's considered DLC it still may be in stores.

Er'body is like "Crossbows omaigod!" but I'm way more excited for the VAMPIRE FORCE CHOKE as a gargoyle. I really hope you can choose to just go all "evil" and help the vampires erase the sun.

Crossbows are dumb anyway for a heroic RPG. The reason they were popular was because they're easier to use/more powerful than other bow types, but if I wanna be a archer, definitely like the recurved stuff better.

Unless they are like the hand crossbows from Forgotten Realms, then I don't see how they could be useful except when at extreme range and/or against an armored target.

I'll love the crossbow for the fact that it's horizontal. Can't hit shit when I'm not sneaking because of the way it's held.

Came out last week on 360. It's a time exclusive thing.

Not worth 1600 points, similar to Knights of the Nine in terms of amount of Content.

Story is pretty good though, and some of the gear is neat.

Play around with the Werewolf and Vampire Lord trees, they're okay but they have no effect on your level and only come into play once transformed.

Never liked the Whole Elder vampire thing, I mean its cool you can now be Marcus from underworld 2, But aren't vampires big on subtlety stealth and illusion over "BAM I'M A BATMONSTER.... Hi!"

Whenever i get the DLC which should probably be once i goes on sale like i get all my Elder scrolls expansions i'll probably be a vampire working for the Dawnguard, It will be interesting.

Ironically you can get a new companion in the DLC who seems to be based on Selene from Underworld.
