HOLY FUCK! STEAM DEALS

I've been holding off on buying games all year, as I plan to do from now on, for Christmas game deals on Steam.

It definitely paid off.

For a total of around $80, I now have the following:

- Mass Effect 2

I don't have either. And my mom is very opposed to online buying.

I'd be more impressed if I liked more of those games. But still, good deal.

There's a couple mods you should have for the original deus ex to improve the graphics (it looks awful now), limit the fps (you'll probably get a few hundred fps, and because of the way its coded, the game runs faster than its supposed to at high fps) and a ui update that makes it look better at higher res.

Bought Empire:Total War and Napoleon: Total War for like $35 good deal if I say so.

At GameStop, they were having a 'buy 2 get 1 free', sale so for $20, I got:

-The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

-Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

-Assassin's Creed (1)

I got Knights of the Old Republic for five bucks

I got Day of Defeat: Source for 2.50, but the game is awful and isn't even worth it at that price. I also did a stupid thing and bought CS:S for $10 2 days before it went down to $5, and I don't really like it either.

Thats the one every one puts mods on for though

Most source mods are for HL2 engine or Orange box engine (slightly better v of source engine). Since I already had the Orange Box on pc, i had access to like 99% of source mods.

Eh... give it a chance. The regular gameplay is solid, but I spend most of my CSS hours in custom gametype servers. Look for servers playing Jailmod, or zombiemod, or deathrace, or minigames.

I just rented a server that I'll be hosting jail games on... it's currently empty :/
