Each only slightly differing from the last. They make the same game every year with nothing more than new maps, new guns, and some sort of dry fan service.

By "great" do you mean "the same"?

Call of Duty 4 had a great Multiplayer for most of its releases.

CoD 4's Multiplayer system worked, Why mess with it to much when its already drawing in thousands of new players.

The problem with drawing in thousands of new players is a percent of those people will go out of thier way to ruin the game for everyone else.

After that debacle, now with more fingers in the pie, with at least 3 different game studios working on it, it might come out a bit of a mess In my opinion.

Which is why the guitar hero series and Tony Hawk series failed. Both activision products interestingly.

You say that like only activision can re-release the same game over and over again, Nintendo has been doing it for years but the diffrence is they do it right

they space the games out so it doesn't seem like they are.
Activision, not so much.

Love Nintendo. But this is a Modern Warefare 3 thread. But on the note of repetition. All games from all genres from all companies have been getting their sequals on for a while now. Just don't act like CoD/Activision is the only one doing it or seems like they're doing it cause they're not the only one.

Anyways, All I can do is wait and see with MW3. But it's low on the list now thanks to other games coming out this year.

Blackops is the sole reason why I'm even considering MW3, since treyarch (witch is supposed to be the lesser of the two companies) can make a firm game there might stilll be some hope for the series with the next installment
