My buddy and I play minecraft, so we have a server set up (though its not always running) but on the weekends we're normally playing for a few hours each day.

and piracy doesn't really work on this since the game requires a connection to the minecraft server to play...

but there is a 'free' version on the website

So did the ubisoft drm, and that was broken. Also, minecraft even gives you a play offline option, so its not that hard to get though.

Also, its 15 euros.

except all minecraft server connections HAVE to run through the minecraft server, even LAN ones. so multiplayer, which is a shit ton of the fun of the game, is unable to be done.

Nope, I played with friends online before I bought it, you just have to set it to a LAN server, and run it through a program like hamachi. (2-3 months ago, the cracked versions fixed the problem of having to go through the minecraft server, not sure if they still do)

Edit: Just checked, the current cracked ones still get by that problem.

i would say "20 pounds is hardly a lot to pay"

but then again, the guy that made the game has made $20 mil and is doing absolute SHIT and getting the game to a full state.
