best Anime EVAR!!!!

That's a really tough call. Let's change it to Best Anime That You've Seen or Favorite Anime Ever. As a casual watcher, there are quite a few very popular animes that I haven't watched.

As for my favorites...still a tough call. I'd probably name Death Note, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and Rurouni Kenshin has my three favorite anime. Death Note is probably what I would consider the "best" of the three, but Rurouni Kenshin is probably my favorite of the three.

Death Note really is awesome. Never before have I been more interested in an Anime's story and characters. Plus it has an amazing opening.



I really liked Neon Genesis Evangelion. I've seen the first movie but not the others yet. I realy want to.



Cowboy Bebop is really good too.



FLCL is just bat shit crazy. I love it.

by 'first movie' you mean, what?

Theres the 26 Episode Original Series, then Death and Rebirth (which some consider a movie, but its just a mashup of the original series), The End of Evangelion, which is a replacement 25th and 26th episode, and then theres the very recent Evangelion 1.0 and 2.0 which are movies that reimagine episodes 1-6 and 7-14 respectively.

I meant End of Evangelion which I guess then if you are correct is not the 'first' movie but I just thought it was.

I've seen the original 26 episodes and all I can say about that is..."Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations!" o_O

I've only watched a lot of Naruto (does Avatar the last airbender count?)

I've seen some of Bleach and full metal alchemist though. I also watched like half of the episodes of this one about baseball but then I quit...

I've heard Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies are very good movies though.

I totally forgot about Neon Genesis! It's up there, as well. And the original Pokemon series, as well.

I still need to finish this one. It's fucked up, just the way I like it.

I'm rather fond of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. But that might just be because I'm sadistic.

Spirited Away is an amazing movie. ^.^

Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke are great ones too.

Basically anything made by Hayao Miyazaki is great.

But with Anime shows...
