Dragon Age 2

i beat it with 3 mages and a tank.

theres a wierd glitch i discovered during that match involving revive.

if your teammates die and you revive them with magic, they're health and stamina/mana regenerate at the 'out of combat' rate.

While the story is indeed weaker(since, well, there really isn't one) and the lack of customizing your party members is really lame, I really liked Dragon Age 2. The combat is a lot better, the ability trees a lot easier to navigate, and I liked nearly every character in the game(although I absolutely hate your brother/sister)

Actually I liked Bethany, as she's one of the more sympathetic and kind party members.

I was more along the lines of assuming both siblings were bad, seeing as how I just started my second playthrough with the rogue. On the other characters though, Fenris reminds too much of an FF character for me to like him, and Anders can get really annoying at times, but they're overall better than DA:O, where I could only stand Morrigan, Alistair, Ogryn, and Zhevran to an extent.

I like all the characters here for the most part.

I liked Bethany as she was a lot more sympathetic and she actually cared about our predictament and wanted to do the best thing, for her mother and for me, while Carver is just a preachy whiny bitch who only cares about himself.

Fenris really is your typical brooding elf with a troubled past and wants revenge. He's pretty run of the mill in terms of motivation and design (He reminds me of that dude from Nier in terms of design).

Anders' 180 flip on his character in awakening was surpising and unwanted. He was just whining on and on and on and on about how mages are oppressed and how shitty life is for him because of having the spirit of justice in him. Come on man, you used to be the comic relief in awakening, now you're one sided preaching bigot.

What he does in the endgame was unforgivable and confirmed why I hated that fucker, because he was compl;etely selfish and murdered people because he wasn't getting his way. I fucking kill the asshat on the spot for it.

The charcters are a little better than origins, but there still pretty much Bioware staples. (Merrill=kooky character with dark past, Isabella=pretty much Morigian)
