I saw this on some TV show a few years ago
EDIT: On a related note, does anyone else see any possible problems with this:
Flies that control ants
I'm pretty sure they have tried this type of thing before and it tends to just replace one problem with another. But, w/e, I guess. It IS a cool idea, when you consider the other agents they want to deliver with the flies.

I really don't like the thought of something controlling something else like that.

Was just saying, we had already known it existed.
It's kinda frightening. Doesn't seem to really us that much.
BTW, cats cause car accidents!(well, kinda, in an indirect sort of way) Parasite lots of Humans get infected with. Cats are its host.

Yeah it was on Planet Earth, cool stuff.
But yeah this stuff really isn't frightening. Because each species of fungus only infects one species of insect . Kinda nature's way of keeping the populations in check. They don't attack any other type of organism though.... kinda would be cool if they did.
No danger, just creepy.

Well, like I said is that it was talking about new versions of the fungi that effects other insects while providing the majority of the stuff we already knew.
