What Vehicle Do You Drive?

Post by BBJynne on Thu May 05, 2011 2:44 am

Or, alliteratively, what would you want to drive if you had it?

I use a white, 2003 Kio Rio. I like it because it's this little Asian car but it has a stripe pattern on the sides and it's trying to look awesome, but it can't get around the fact that it's a Kia ;) . Also, when you've damaged your vehicle enough, you start to be possessive of it (and name it...)

I don't have a vehicle out here (unless you count the HMMWVs MTVRs LVSs MRAPs and MATVs

but in Cali I have a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650r that recently suffered $3000 in damages, but it's all good now.

I don't have one.
Yet.

On one hand, my cousin said he'd sell me his 1994 Chevy Blazer for $1500. It doesn't have a radio, one of the doors doesn't open from the inside, it's a bitch to shift gears, it chugs gas like Ruski chugs vodka, and it gets hot in the car when the heater is turned off and the windows are up.

On the other hand my uncle said he'd give me my grandma's car that he's currently driving (she's driving a new Ford Fusion or something). It's an old Chrysler from this decade at least that actually handles really well compared to the SUVs and Minivans most of my family has. Problem is, he'll probably never have the money for a new car for himself and I won't get the car at all.

So basically I get to choose between the car that's falling apart, but more tangible, or the car that runs well, but may not be available.
