That would make sense if he was saying "The Third Game" but he said AC: 3.
(Sorry if i seem to be coming off as an ass, but i just have this idea, that a lot of people just try to find ways to bash Noc cause they dislike him. It's a lil unfair and kinda weak since he's like 13. =P)
I'm not trying to bash him at all, I apologize if it came off that way. It's just I don't understand at all why they need to call it AC: 3. Having three in the title would imply that it's the third game (in my eyes), which it wouldn't be at this point. Assassin's Creed has moved out of the numbers and towards word titles (it's one of my pet peeves in the gaming industry that series randomly switch back and forth from the two).

Your point? AC established the story, AC: 2 established Ezio. AC: Brotherhood further established Ezio and further established Desmond as an assassin. It's not only the third game in terms of release but also continuity of the story therefore making a game with the title of AC: 3 redundant. You can introduce a new character without a number in the title.

I don't know. I always felt like number titles were the true TITLES, and word sub titles were for half-game length expansions.

I like how everyone has forgotten Assassin Creed; Bloodlines.

And there are a couple of games on the DS and 3DS.

I never had a DS so I never played it or payed attention to it so I just ended up forgetting.

And @Noc, I know plenty of people who did too. Then again, I know plenty of people who view Brotherhood and other games that are like Brotherhood as full fledged games. In my opinion, Brotherhood was the 3rd because it had a full length storyline, it added multiplayer, it added the assassin buddy system (the first night I got it I spent the entire night just upgrading them) and it continued the storyline in a big way for Desmond. I understand that you view it as an expansion and I won't argue with you or anybody else who feels that way because it's obviously not an argument anybody will change sides on.

Bloodlines was a PSP game and is bad.

The DS games apparantly weren't too bad according to the reviews.

^^New video from E3^^

And it looks great. I love snowy mountainous country sides and I love Istanbul as the setting.

So this game looks great.

Putting this on my list of games to get.
