No Half-Life 2: Episode 3 anymore???

Given the length between Episode 2 and today, I thought the episodes were scrapped.

Half-Life 3 now or bust.

I'm too lazy to read the whole article. Does it actually specifically say no Half-Life 2: Episode 3, or that Valve isn't going to continue with the episodic theme. Because, given that HL2E3 would be in production, I doubt the latter would reflect on it.

Not that the HL2 Episodes were really episodic in nature...

they kind of made them as full production games and called them episodes.

They just said they wont continue the episodic gaming trend

I think they're still gonna make the third installment of HL2 though

It seems kinda clear that they are going for HL3 but somehow going to keep updating it until it becomes Hat-Life 3 just like they are trying with portal 2. As long as the main story is solid like its predecessors and the updates are free, they have my full support.

and if they don't have numbers than you can't just pick 2 and say it never gets more than that, because there are more than 3 numberless counterstrikes.

I believe it only includes the ones released by Valve. Just because they don't have a number doesn't mean anything. I didn't make the comic.

So Blue Shift wasn't released by Valve?
