Supersaturated with what? And its coke, wouldn't the Carbonation naturally upset the liquid enough to naturally knock it out of supersaturation.

You have to open it and take a sip before it works.

Back in january my friends and I left a bottle of coke in a snowdrift for a few days to see if anyone would find it. When we finally got the bottle back(no one found it) the coke had not frozen. We took it inside and opened it, and then within the range of ten to fifteen seconds the damn thing froze.
It was very dissapointing, as we then had no coke to drink with our pizza.

mebbe they had it below zero, and when the gas started escaping the freezing point lowered and it started freezing?
