If you guys still care, i talked to my teach about this today.

The coke is actually below freezing and stored under pressure.

When the bottle is flipped over, the molecular structure that keeps the coke a liquid shifts a bit, causing the coke to react to the cold and freeze.

So then, does the taking a sip before fliping the bottle over serve any purpose?

Or is it the fact that you are removing the cap thus having something to do with the pressure?
