No, seriously.
I mean, sure, it was the '80s(or '90s?), but it was ridiculous. First, they give you a mental-incompetence boomerang, then make it so that so can't attack while moving! And they don't give you power to use magic in places you don't ABSOLUTELY NEED IT.

Maybe because 1) they weren't (or didn't) programmed to do that, and/or 2) because it made it harder?
