I want to see some new games but I'll be waiting for the BF3 MP reveal.

I think it's gonna be a good show this year.

Anyone think it's possible that Microsoft and Sony have been hiding a new console project? I'm curious as to what they will be announcing.

Nintendo has a track record of releasing a new console every 5 years exactly.

Maybe they joined forces against Nintendo.

It is entirely possible that they might. Both Sony and Microsoft.

I think a new console 'announcement' is more possible. But complete reveal etc, just a couple more years.

so i only miss the MS conference, and it should be the least filling...

That's a pretty standard console lifespan.

I'm fairly certain that MS and Sony both announced upon the release of their respective consoles that the'd have 10 years of life. So I don't think we'll see a new console just yet, especially because of all the updating and shit MS in particular has done with the 360 to change it radically from how it originally started.

Nintendo...I've known for a while that they've been making a new console. But does it honestly surprise anyone that they would be?

No one's saying that it's surprising. But I'm excited for it. I hope it still has backwords playablitly so I can play the Wii games I never did.
