If the only problem is the loss of the color purple, I'll be ecstatic. I don't pay $60 to see purple.

The color doesn't matter that much, but I wonder why they switched off of the purple. Anyways, looks interesting.

If we're lucky, they'll change things around so it's not even Halo anymore.
KS, the reason they changed it was because 343 and M$ could, therefore they did. The sad truth, the reason why things are changed is not because it really affects anything, or makes things necessarily look better or styled better, it's for the sake of changing things. Since barely anyone actually cares one way or another, the only reason I can think of is that they just wanted to piss off RL a lot.
