Halo 4

Well basically peoples opinions translate to the developmental of games, and their success. I wouldn't have an issue with that at all if the average Halo fan wasn't bedazzled by everything flashed in his face. thought I touched on the overall quality of these new releases being dragged down by a fanbase that really doesn't understand why things are good and bad in Halo, they just want more Halo.

Does the changing of things for no reason, story, visual styling of... things, gameplay, make sense? Yes? Ok.

I just don't want it to suck, for anyone really, if the average fanboy is just sorta fine with anything, what's the harm in making it have a decent story that actually ties into the events of the previous games without changing the look of everything for no reason? That way everyone likes it.

Believe it or not, my expectations aren't even that strict, all I want is the story to make sense, tie into the events of the previous installments, the appearances of things not to change for not reason. I'm not the only one that thinks this either, half the people I talk to about this say the same thing! Believe you me, it's really not too much to ask.

I don't want it to suck either Ring. But even if it does, I'll move on and still remember Halo for what it was and all that jazz you know?

mm.....the problem is that with bungies investment out of the picture, Halo 4 would likely not have the same production values reach and the other had. Regardless of story, all the Halo games have been fairly towards the forefront, graphically, and in terms of gaming innovation.

In the light of recent trailer previews, IE, Battlefield 3, Halo will really have to catch up, especially if 343 has to develop a new engine for Halo 4.

The reason why I'm fairly convinced it's going downhill is a certain nonchalance towards development aspects of the game, and those that would cry foul aren't typical Halo fans, I mean, look at what happened to Halo Wars, we were the ones that said 'no' and left, yet it was still a successful game. Those that would even care enough can't make a big enough stink to sway these developers away from crashing and burning and ruining the franchise.

I mean, even CRYSIS II for god sakes, got really good reviews on almost all the review sites! Even though, Crysis, A game that was basically a PC only exclusive was generally despised by its original fanbase. Under diversification ruins games by turning them into gray goop and attracting way too many non-hardcore fans.

Jumpjet. Existed in Halo since the beginning. Jetpacks will probably get a return, though.

Except he had it when he got out of cryo, which he has probably been in since the Ark went off. Where did he get it from?
