honestly it doesn't matter... the blue color used now and the purple color used beofre are still alien, still pretty close.. and BOTH colors were used back in Halo CE by the covenant

You konw if your colorblind the covey isnt purple or blue

If I had a vote though, I'd say both as Covenant seemed to like both very much. But as everyone has said, it really doesn't mater.

Well, anyway, why change the color?
You know, Halo is more our property then it's Microsoft's, Bungies, or 343s, it's ours in the same way Indiana Jones doesn't belong to Speilburg or Lucas, even if they only piss off a small sect of folks that concern themselves with the quality of the games, what gives them the right to change things for no reason?

Right, it's not a hard task, it's a completely unnecessary and stupid one.
Changing things for no reason to no effect just for the sake of changing them is stupid, especially when it makes the units appear different in different games.
Think about it like if you were playing a Halo marathon, and when you take out the Halo 3 disk to put in the Halo 4 disk the chief and all the aliens look different, and your like, 'what?'
