Lol, the original picture from Bungie pretty clearly makes the distinction between Marines and Troopers in the image name 'Marine/Trooper Evolution, emphasis on the Marine SLASH Trooper part:



So who are the odd men out in this picture, the two that are wearing fatigues and Trooper armor? Let me guess, for the sake of your position, not the leftmost and rightmost suits...

I mean, according to Bungie:

This IS an Army Trooper, and NOT a marine.

The second picture isn't in the comparison good sir, i believe i have never seen such an image in game.

except that last one is Army....

I'm getting confused....are we arguing about the fact that halo reach styled Marines are showing up in CE, or that they are replacing all the OG Marines with Reach Army Troopers?

The first one i think, That they are using Reach UNSC personel for the Halo CE remake, Of course the thing that doesnt add up as they will look like the original marines in the original graphics mode meaning theres really no point in complaining about it.

well are they going to be Marines or Army? That's a more significant change.

That'd be a real issue, since I don't get what the army would do on a ship instead of the marines.

I think that Ring is upset that the Marines look different in Anniversary now. Might I point out that this is the thread specifically for the argument of blue vs purple? Please take useless debates about whether updating a uniform to be more detailed is good or bad to the Halo Anniversary thread.

As for blue vs purple, I'm serious. I saw the trailers, and I didn't see what people were talking about. Where are there Covenant who are blue when they should be purple?

I honestly don't know. It came out of nowhere, I've seen it pop up on HBO, and I have yet to see a source.

If it's from a Kotaku or IGN article, I'm going to hit the roof.
