The kid is dying and pleading for mercy but rangers showed no respite.
They kill innocent chechens , they kill innocent balouch, they kill innocent muhajirs but when they see a criminal Raymond Davis then they wet their pants.

Translation for those who dont understand urdu.
A cop in plain clothes apprantly caught a criminal robbing people with a toy gun ( gun story not confirmed). He takes them to paramilitary forces who were posted across the street.

The plain cloth guys says, "this is the man, he is the robber". the soldier sticks his gun to the neck of the boy and others yell "kill him, kill him". this boy pleads for mercy and tells them not to kill him. they keep on yellinng "kill him, kill him". the boy tries to persuade them not to kill him.but the soldier shoots him twice from point blank. the boy cries for help and begs them to not kill him and take him to hospital. he tells them he can still be saved if they take him to hospital but the soldiers let him bleed to death. all this time the boy cries for his mom.

later it turned out that the boy was jjust 17 years old who just gave his 10th grade exam and waiting for his result. another day in pakistan, they killed 5 chechens two weeks ago among them there were two women.

They don't take stealing very good in the first place, and then when they point their rifles at him he GRABS the barrel of it.



Not a justification, but something he should have avoided doing.

Different countries behave differently.

But also, notice the cuts between the initial contact and them actually shooting him. There's plenty of things he could have done there that would merit him being shot.

There's also, generally speaking, minimal requirement for the forces there to provide any kind of aid. Insurgents and uniformed military in iraq and afghanistan were regularly allowed to bleed to death. And civilians were only required to be given the amount of medical attention that meets the average standards of medical care in the area, which is generally absolute shit.

Based on the way the video is presented, it's fairly clearly propaganda. It would have been easy to show the entire video of the confrontation to show that he was being compliant when they were detaining him, but none of that is there.

If he was being detained and continually being non-compliant, the ROEs could allow lethal force to be used, especially if he's showing specifically hostile intent.

Albeit, it's pretty easy to get an unarmed individual to be compliant before shooting him, we can't just assume they jumped straight to shooting him. If they did, there wouldn't be a cut.

btw, I love when he first tries to get up and then sits down and a huge wave of blood shoots out of his leg and you can hear a "woo" sound effect at that exact moment lol

If I was in his position I'd rather be executed then have to bleed out.

Admittedly, it does seem like he was doing more than just being compliant. Just before being shot, he's backing up from the group of men... as though he'd just been struggling with them or something. It looks like he was resisting, someone pointed a gun at him, he backed up, and the guy shot.

Still not okay... but it was a reaction to something he was doing.

maybe they cut the video because it just dragged on for several minutes, and whoever was showing it decided to just skip to the point. I mean seriously, the entire thing could have easily been a good 10 - 20 minutes.

yes it is possible, but what they do show is him being significantly less than compliant, which makes the other option more likely.
