War Inc. Battlezone Lands Publishing Deal

Indie game developer Online Warmongers wants to change your expectations for what a free-to-play game can offer, and it hopes to do so with its first game, War Inc. Battlezone.
Made up of industry vets from EA, Activision, and Cryptic Games, Los Angeles-based Online Warmongers was formed in 2009 with a focus on developing next-gen online games for consoles and PC. Third-person tactical shooter War Inc. Battlezone is the studio's debut title, and it's been generating a healthy buzz since it launched in beta form in March.

That buzz helped the company secure a marketing and distribution deal with online game publisher U.S.-based Alist Games, which has announced its plans to launch a major campaign for the War Inc. in North America, Europe, and Australia.
If you're looking for a new military shooter to tide you over until Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, give it a try. You just might get hooked.
