How did it go from Marisa blasting Cirno with a Kamehameha to Cirno winning?

I didn't take screenshots of everything, and there are multiple playthroughs to get more, not all of which resulted in wins. In addition, Cirno dealing damage is something we've seen a lot already, so I'm mostly focusing on highlighting the opponents.

I think I missed any pictures of the laser entirely on the original playthrough, tbh.

maybe that's why you should do a video instead of this retarded shit.

the purpose of calling it a let's play is the fact the individual observing can feel like they're playing it. what you're giving us is more of a guide

Stage Four is gonna be broken up into multiple sections for various reasons, but here's part one.

Spoiler:: When we last left Cirno, she was following Marisa's information that the rice wine and daidarabocchi are under the geyser somewhere.

ENTER STAGE FOUR. CHALLENGER: JUDGE FROLLO.

"Tell me, Daiyousei, why I see it standing there, why its giant form makes me give chase. I hear of it. I follow it. The search for Diadaracocchi has lead me to a heat I can't control. Like fire! Hellfire! This fire in my skin... This burning inferno; I can never win. It's not my fault. I'm not to blame. It was Marisa who sent me to this flame! It's not my fault if in her plan, she lied to me just because she can!"

Yay! Okuu, the hell raven. She's awesome like Cirno. This is because while Cirno is cool, Okuu is hot.

We're apparently inside a nuclear fusion reactor core. Not only are we alive somehow, but it's only "unbearably hot" and it has this massive open space in it... Also, Cirno about to be eradicated, seems like there might be an actually justified fight approaching.

"But I don't wanna get eradicated!" Gotta love Cirno's surprised face. Best sprite ever.

TO THE DEATH! (for once)
*cue amazing background music* (Personal favorite arrange of her theme)

Okuu's dash attacks are unweidly and only can be done at the end of a dash.

What's important is the control pose. Okuu control.

Ice attacks still function in the reactor, somehow. Frozone couldn't handle being in a fire, but Cirno can fight in a reactor core.

Beat down during aerial engagement.

Finally we get to throw down some damage as well, but this isn't going well.

"Unyu? Get your pervy eyes away. Knee-to-the-head!"

She's balancing on thin ice.

"Back ye fowl creature!"

Easy-Mode fighting is kind of unimpressive looking since the opponent only really makes melee attacks, unfortunately. I'll upload some screens fighting Okuu on Lunatic and getting defeated soundly later. Considering that I somehow lost half my life vs. Okuu on easy, we know two things: I am not very good, and Okuu more difficult than anyone else.

So far this is our most straightforward fight because the purpose is clear, although yet again it appears to be because of a misunderstanding. More than half the fights in Touhou start from people being jerks to each other or misunderstandings. The rest are either friendly bouts, or serious business.

Touhou is a game about poor communication.
