Racial Inequalities

I'd like to take the time hold a free base of expressions on racial inequalities. To be up front and honest, i think inequalities based on race are a result of a certain people's own mistakes. I believe we've given all races fair opportunities to make something of themselves. The inequalities that we perceive by what we are told is all media based. We all need to be standing up for ourselves and show the world that just because your not white doesn't mean that everyone should show you sympathy for your wrong doings. That kind of bull shit is exactly what i'm talking about. Let's discuss it further.

It is not as easy as you might assume to go up and down the class structure as you might think. Regardless, racism can still affect the ability for some people to get fired.

Identical job applications with a "white" name and a "black" name* (Kevin and Tyrone) were sent out, with Kevin getting twice as many calls back for interviews.

It's getting better, but it isn't perfect yet.


*Names are based on cultures, which are heavily based on ethnicity. If you are naming your WASP kid "Eduardo", you're doing it wrong.

Because there shouldn't be anyone saying that racial inequality is a good thing. Thus, no debate.

Idk, just seemed like one of those controversial things that usually ends up in the debate section. I actually thought NT would be on the "not all races are equal" side anyway, which would've made it a debate.

Maybe it should be "Debate & Discussion" or something *shrug*

No one race is better than the other.

Except White people.
