I think I've said this before, but I think it'd be great to be able to go back and experience this all over again.

it was good.

Didn't like that they only mentioned marathon for more than like 2 seconds, but Halo is their big thing, and most of the team came later, so w/e Razz The rest of it was cool.

The true Halo legacy in terms of fun games that innovate is going to be in their next game, not in Halo 4

It's kind of sad though.

The Reach segment, I mean. It's like they don't even realize how much they pissed on the canon, or they just don't care...

And I know it doesn't interfere with the canon of the games. But Eric Nylund wrote three of the best science fiction novels I've ever read, and they basically threw them out the window in one fell swoop.

Yeah but to them, they weren't as important as their game internal story so they ignored them.

It pissed me off a bit, but frankly it doesn't matter anymore. Halo is done, and I'm not following it further. Bungie for the first time in 10 years has a clean slate to do something new and introduce us to a brand new IP that hey, might surpass the bar they've already set.

Whatever 'Tiger' is, it's going to be really interesting to see what way Bungie comes at it, as I don't see them just doing a Halo Clone and they've shown in the past that they can make games in very different genres.

I'm probably doing to do that at some point. I did it just before Reach came out and really enjoyed it.

Makes me wish Halo 2 was being given the same treatment as CE and packed into Anniversary. So we could have a Halo marathon and play all teh Haloz in co-op.
