So here I am. Sitting an hour before my first class starts in my dorm. And already I'm thinking about changing majors. I really don't think I'm up for music ed and I just need some help. As I look through the majors on here, I keep flipping between three or four categories. But for now, I think I'm going to be undecided for now.

So my question to you, for those who have already been in college or are in college now, how many times did you change your major? I have heard anywhere between 1 to 5 times.

I haven't yet but I am really thinking about switching to Electrical/Computer Engineering before the spring semester comes around.

Meh. Two years of college, still going to be a mechanical engineer.
I'm thinking about going into irrigation and farm machinery, rather than small arms design as I'd originally intended.

I switched majors 4 times and even ended up switching colleges entirely to fit what I ultimately decided that I wanted to do

Music ed doesn't sound like something that pays a lot.

Teaching in general doesn't pay well. But if it's something I really have a passion for, then the price really wouldn't matter with what I get paid. I'm now undecided and I'm enrolled in a Humanities 1 class and an Intro to Psych class. I'm no thinking there is something I can do with history and psych together.

Trust me, there is something.
Hell, with my love for history and the beginnings of a mechanical engineering degree, I could have gone for a PhD in Industrial History.

I haven't changed majors, but I've wanted to do architecture since early high school, am in a condensed program, an archies typically either get out early or stick it out.
