The thing I hate about origin is it doesn't do anything we can't already do with Steam....

Know what I just realized? This will be the first real Battlefield campaign that doesn't star the Bad Company squad. Should be interesting.

RAMIREZ! KILL EVERY SPETSNAZ IN EXISTENCE WITH THIS BULLET!

The Xbox gameplay looks decent enough.

And for those that didn't know. The Campaign will be told through the use of a Marine as a framing device, but you will play as (essentially) every branch of the US Armed Forces during different missions. The story is meant to be deeply personal and the different characters allow for the story to be told from different vantage points.

Gee, I certainly can't think of any modern first person shooter that has tried something like that before. I'm glad they're really thinking outside the box on this one. Whatever

Meh... I can't write them off just yet, but the last thing I want is another explosion-driven action shooter with no substance or original gameplay... or entertainment value.

It's what they're shooting for, and knowing DICE, they're going to put their all into it, as opposed to most military shooters which just use singleplayer and training for multiplayer.
