Earthquake hits East USA

A 5.8-5.9 earthquake hit 36 miles away from DC, destroying several buildings in the area. Shocks were felt as far away as New York and Southern Connecticut. This is the biggest earthquake to hit the Eastern Seaboard since 1897.

Anyone hear get hit by this. I got some small shakes and my dogs went a little crazy, anyone closer to the epicenter?

I can't find anything showing what time it actually happened.

Out here on the West Coast a 5-6 isn't really that much nowadays. We get small 2 or 3 magnitude Earthquakes every day and don't even notice them. Every few months we get a 4 or a 5. We feel it, but no one is really concerned.

East Coast doesn't feel it often so the buildings aren't really as built to handle them as much as West Coast.
