It started with the 'New personal message' box...

Then came the flashing 'You're our 2-billionth visitor' box

Now advertisements have pulled out their worst one yet... the download box. Seriously, it SUCKS. It takes me twice as long to download things anymore because 4 of the 5 buttons on any download page is an advertisement. Someone make it go away!

I went on the Mass Effect thread just now and refreshed the page 12 times before getting an actual advertisement. One of those times was the 'New personal message' box and the other 11 were download buttons (6 variations of them, even). WHY!!?!?!?

Ever tried to advise a computer-illiterate customer to download and run ComboFix? There are literally four ads on the page, all of which display a hearty green download button. SpeedTest is almost as bad with three ads.

The one that get me are the black boxes with the right pointing grey arrows on video sites, especially when the correct box still takes you to anouther page while throwing up an ad behind your current browser. Whatever

I asked a friend for a good place to pirate ME3, because i didn't want to support EA. He assumed i was good with computers (true) and was familiar with pirating (not true). So he sent me a Pirate Bay link, and i saw the "Download" button and thought that was it.

I kept on saying that his link wasn't right, and he kept saying it was. It took a few days for him to figure it out. Took me about as long to remove the seven million viruses from the computer >.<
