Dark Souls 2

Anyone play the original? This game is the most difficult piece of shit i've ever played and it's fucking awesome. If you like to play a game to be challenged based on skill than this shit is it.

The most basic zombie/skeleton enemies that are the normal fodder in other games will fuck your mouth till your jaw dislocates so god forbid you fight something that has a god damn health bar.







YOU SEE THIS PANSY ASS MUSHROOM SHIT?!?! THIS WEAK LOOKING FUCK THAT YOU WOULD KILL BY LOOKING AT?!?!



HE WILL KILL YOU IN 1-2 HITS AND YOU WILL LEARN TO FUCKING LIKE IT




HE WILL FUCK YOUR SHIT UNTIL YOU START PISSING OUT YOUR MOUTH AND SHITTING OUT YOUR EARS



AND HE TRAVELS IN PACKS




I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS FUCKING SCREEN CAUSE YOU WILL SEE A FUCK TON OF IT




Every single enemy in this game will fucking murder you if you are not careful. If you go into a sewer and see a giant undead rat which is usually the lvl1 starter tutorial enemy in other games and underestimate him he will bite of your god damn knee caps and rape your corpse until you produce his unholy rat children who will continue the cycle with what remains. Once they run out of holes to fuck they will make more and just keep fucking until their is nothing left. Then you will respawn and do it again, this time with some fucking respect.


God have mercy on you when you fight a Dragon or a Hydra, cause this game sure as shit won't.



And I god damn love it and can't wait for the sequel.

PC port is shit and rushed as fuck since the controls on the pc say PRESS X OR B ON THE XBOX CONTROLLER TO FUCKING SWING THE SWORD. Honestly they couldn't take the god damn time to convert the images to say which Key does what in the game. The developer even said they fucked up and they are making Dark Souls 2 with PC in mind. That on top of all the fucking graphical issues and Anti Aliasing that prevented the game from even being RUNNABLE on my "Plays everything on fucking Ultra" computer because of the humongous amount of slowdown.

Thankfully modders fixed those issues day 2 of the mod (literally took them 2 days to do what a team of developers fucking couldn't) so now the game works just fine.

I stopped playing Dark Souls after the 2nd boss fight when it ran off the edge and killed itself when I wasn't looking. Hopefully they fix stuff like that and make a decent pc port.

Also, the rats at the start of Oblivion would fuck you up on the hardest difficulty.

Well you are missing out on some good shit because of one bug then. One of the most challenging and rewarding games i've ever played.

Other games hold your hand till about midway through the game while this one starts you off naked and with a broken sword hilt and says "FUCK YOU SCRUB"

And I was a bit wrong about the modder fixing the game in two days where the devs couldn't do it in months.






THIS MOTHERFUCKER FIXED IT 23 MINUTES AFTER THE GOD DAMN RELEASE OF THE GAME

You'll have to tweak the settings for yourself. If you need help I can just send you a copy of my settings to see if they work. I just kept fucking with it till it worked cause it was almost unplayable otherwise. Huge lag and frame rate drops and blurry bullshit. Was awful and I have a great computer that plays games on high/ultra. They spent no god damn time in fixing this game for PC.

Yeah I have the same problem.  I got the mouse thing to go away, and did the dsfix stuff, even unlocked the framerate but my computer which can run Total War maxed out, and just about whatever else I play at max, struggles with this shit.  I barely made it out of the first dungeon cell before I had to quit.

EDIT: Actually could you post your settings? Maybe I could make this game work after all....

I got it working nicely on my PC for quite some time. Might want to change the graphics options to fit your own needs though since I am playing on a TV monitor and adjusted it to work on that.

I am too. The graphics are fine, it's just the mouse (even at 2 sensitivity) is twitchy as fuck and is annoying to use.

I'll have to get another wired Xbox controller, since mine is broke and to use the PS3 one requires shifty Chinese software.
