Does it even have a reason to be celebrated?
I mean, the pilgrims weren't the first ones here obviously, and it's not like anyone really gives thanks for anything durring thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving is one of the few American holidays.

so that's the reason to celebrate

The reason we celebrate thanksgiving is because in the past the pilgrims nearly starved to death during the winter, but they were able to survive it and were helped by the Indians.

So perty much thats the idea

And christopher colombus was a horrible drunkard and all the indians got essentially raped by the pilgrim machine.

And then we went and slaughtered all the Indians the next day because they wouldn't give us more food. They don't teach you that part in kindergarten.

well it seems like its not celebrated any more

My whole family is stopping by for thanksgiving dinner.
