depends on how much information you're willing to put online

the doctor/teacher has access to you a lot, while the online person only can get at you if you tell them where to go

I'm with statistics on this one. You are much more likely to be sexually assaulted by a teacher or doctor than a person you meet online. Contrary to common belief, we aren't all sexual predators. More than a few of us will grow up to be serial killers, but the point stands.
